Fun, friendly and messy craft for adults and children alike! (age 6+)

This is a session where you can give Powertex a go for the first time in a 1 hour session, or refresh your knowledge if you haven’t used it for a while. Booking advised but if we have space on the day you are welcome to join!

Powertex is a fabulous mixed media product which is a paint, glue, fabric hardener and weatherproofing agent all rolled into one! It is water based, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. It’s great for recycling and upcycling items you have around the house and we show you how!

I will show you step by step how to use the Powertex product on a small project and then how to dry and colour it. You will leave with the item you have created.

Once you know the basics, the only limit is your imagination! You can purchase a kit to make your own designs at home or you can come to more of workshops to make anything from a notebook cover to a dragon! Click on the pictures to see some examples here of what you will be able to create as you progress your Powertex journey.

No experience needed, no need to bring anything, just wear old clothes, and we’ll bring out the artist in you!

Tea and coffee provided at Cummertrees, bring lunch/snacks as appropriate - kitchen (fridge and microwave) available for use.
